Known for his work with The Used, Bert McCracken recently dropped his latest single under his solo project robbietheused with “The Feels.”
The track follows the singer’s previous release, “Just A Little Bit.” Like its predecessor, “The Feels” is accompanied by a bright claymation music video. This time, the visualization includes cute animations of McCracken singing to an audience of emojis, zombies attempting to plant a garden, and a little ghost enjoying it all.
“This song was inspired by my ongoing battle with mental health and is about learning to lean into love and acceptance,” McCracken says. “It was written in 2022 with John Feldmann and I’m so happy to finally share it.”
Produced with John Feldmann, the song is a cheery ode to the power of emotional vulnerability. Its upbeat tempo, balanced with a solid bassline and energetic melodies, makes ”The Feels” the perfect track to jam and dance to when things are feeling a little too overwhelming.

“Any feeling is valid—and to be able to put it to song is incredible,” McCracken shares. “There’s so much room in this world for positivity. I want this music to show that there’s room for love. There’s room for growth. There’s room for redemption.”
He continues, “There’s room for sweet, loving revenge. There’s so many good people—and so many good things happening.” Watch “The Feels” from robbietheused below and stream it via Big Noise.
