The Lost Bros Combine Pop-Punk with Disney

If there is new pop-punk music out there, we will sniff it out. This time our noses led us somewhere we didn’t expect. The Lost Bros, a brand specializing in all sorts of Disney content and merchandise, is dropping “emo pop-punk Disney” covers. They posted a teaser of Frozen’s “Love is an Open Door” with a twist. The full song is promised for this Friday and even more music in the future.

The Instagram post said, “We wanted to make a song that was rooted in pop punk and emo, sounded like 2023, but at it’s core was inspired by the 2000’s golden disney pop rock era,” with a promise for more music in the future. The song is fun and hits you right in the nostalgia. (Both the early 2000s nostalgia and the Disney nostalgia). Vocalist Cody Tapoler combines his two areas of expertise in a way that’s inspiring and exciting.

This isn’t the first time The Lost Bros. has tackled pop-punk music. Three years ago they tackled “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)” from Hercules and “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid before that. We’re hoping for even more coming soon, but enjoy the teaser below while you wait!
