Bill Skarsgård To Reprise Brandon Lee’s Iconic ‘The Crow’ Role

The Crow 2023

In an announcement made by Lionsgate Films today, September 7, Hollywood horror heartthrob Bill Skarsgård is set to reprise Brandon Lee’s iconic and final role as Eric Draven in ‘The Crow’ remake. The original film was released in May 1994 following Lee’s tragic March 1993 passing due to an accident on set, and the reboot film is currently slated for release in 2024.

In addition to Skarsgård portrayal of the titular character, the forthcoming reimagined film will also star FKA Twigs (Honey Boy) as Eric Draven’s fiancée Shelley Webster, and Danny Huston (30 Days Of Night, American Horror Story: Coven) in an undisclosed role. Directed by Rupert Sanders, ‘The Crow’ will mark his third venture in the director’s chair, following his work on ‘Snow White And The Huntsman‘ in 2012 and ‘Ghost In The Shell‘ in 2017.
