Taylor Swift’s ‘Speak Now’ Features Hayley Williams & Fall Out Boy

Taylor Swift Hayley Williams Fall Out Boy

Taylor Swift has thrilled her fans by unveiling the highly-anticipated tracklist for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), a masterful reimagining of her illustrious third album from 2010. With an impressive collection of 22 tracks, this updated edition follows the successful pattern set by her previously reissued albums, Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

Adding to the excitement are six captivating new singles, labeled “From The Vault.” The icing on the cake comes in the form of remarkable collaborations with her real-life best friend, the incomparable Hayley Williams of Paramore, as well as the revered rock titans, Fall Out Boy. Williams lends her extraordinary voice to the track titled “Castles Crumbling,” while Fall Out Boy joins forces with Swift on the electrifying “Electric Touch.”

Swiftie fans were quick to connect the dots of a possible collaboration between the two powerhouse vocalists when Williams was captured on video during a recent Ulta event, graciously accepting a handmade Speak Now bracelet from a devoted fan. With a teasing smile and suggestive tone in her voice, Williams tantalizingly remarked, “Let me just tell you, this is coming at a very interesting time that you’re giving me this to wear. And that’s all I’ll say.”

It’s also no secret that Swift has long held a deep admiration for Fall Out Boy and their talented bassist/lyricist, Pete Wentz. In a 2019 interview with Zane Lowe, Swift revealed, “If I had to pick a favorite lyricist, it would be a tie between Pete Wentz and Lana Del Rey.”

In a post to her official social accounts, Swift shares, “I’m VERY excited to show you the back cover of Speak Now (my version) including the vault tracks and collaborations with Hayley Williams from Paramore and Fall Out Boy. Since Speak Now was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of Speak Now. I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and can’t wait to unveil it all to you on July 7th.”
