Arriving just in time for her back-to-back performances at Slam Dunk Festival in the UK, Taylor Acorn has unleashed her empowering new single “High Horse.”

Acorn shares, “Over the years of sharing my music and being a presence online I’ve learned that no matter how hard you try, there will always be people who just really love to hate you. That fact has been one of the toughest pills to swallow because my Virgo brain wants to please everyone at all times, but at the end of the day you have to be strong and keep powering through despite what they say. No one knows you like you know you and ‘High Horse’ is my little anthem to remember that It’s never as deep of a cut as it seems.”

The uplifting release serves as a powerful reminder to drown out the noise of others’ thoughts and opinions while remaining steadfast in who you are. The assertive and anthemic chorus, “Pay no mind to all your hot takes and your trivial shit/In the big picture it’s irrelevant/Hope your high horse throws you into a ditch/Yeah, I can forgive, but karma never forgets,” showcases Acorn’s dynamic and undeniable prowess, driving home her strength and resilience.

Following appearances at Slam Dunk Festival, Let’s Go! Music Festival, and Four Chord Music Festival this summer, Acorn will be joining Dashboard Confessional and Boys Like Girls on tour this fall. You can check out her full touring schedule below and grab tickets here.
