Ahead of her eagerly anticipated debut full-length album, I’m Telling You The Truth, talker has unleashed her latest offering, “Everything Is Something (I Never Saw Coming).” Acting as the fifth glimpse into her forthcoming 11-track collection, talker, aka Celeste Tauchar, shares, “Writing this track changed my life, not joking.”

“We just did whatever we wanted,” Tauchar adds about the writing process with Collin Pastore and Jake Finch. “There was a moment that we all looked at each other and were like, oh shit. It’s one of the most pop-leaning songs on the record but it captures an essence that’s present throughout—being honest and staying true to what feels right.”

Opening against a backdrop of twinkling synths and a glitched-out instrumental arrangement, talker’s pop-heavy anthem is a rallying cry to stay honest with who you are. Navigating through lyrics such as “Trying to stay afloat/As I spin out of control,” talker captures an assured feeling of magic and self-declaration, showcasing her creative authenticity.

In addition to her forthcoming new album, which will officially arrive on June 21, talker is heading out on the road with Kississippi this summer.

“Through live music, I’ve met so many unforgettable people. I’ve been so lucky to tour with artists who deeply inspire me,” Kississippi, aka Zoe Reynolds, shares. “Celeste [talker] is no exception. I’ve made a lot of really special memories on the West Coast. I couldn’t wait any longer to get back and make more.”
