On September 13, Phoenix, Arizona indie star Sydney Sprague revealed the deluxe version of somebody in hell loves you via Rude Records. It features new songs with artists such as Kississippi, Pool Kids, and Kevin Devine. Additionally, she shared a music video for “smiley face” featuring Pool Kids.
Pools Kids‘ Christine Goodwyne says, “When I first heard Sydney play this song live on our tour together I was obsessed, and would annoyingly scream-sing harmonies from the crowd every night.”
Goodwyne adds, “Several months later we were passing through Phoenix, and they joked that we could only crash on their couch if I recorded a verse for the remix at their home studio during our stay. I was thrilled to oblige, and we banged it out somewhere in the middle of our three-day sleepover.”
