Sum 41 fans have navigated an emotionally challenging year. Despite the excitement brought on by the band’s latest single, “Landmines,” fans have also had to endure the approaching end of the iconic group as their disbandment looms. Following the release of their upcoming double album, Heaven :x: Hell, and their worldwide headline tour, the iconic punk ensemble will bid farewell.
The group broke the news on May 8, 2023. In a statement, they shared, “Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives. We are forever grateful to our fans, both old and new, who have supported us in every way. It is hard to articulate the love and respect we have for all of you, and we wanted you to hear this from us first.

Sum 41 will be disbanding. We will still be finishing all of our current upcoming tour dates this year, and we’re looking forward to releasing our final album “Heaven :x: Hell,” along with a final worldwide headlining tour to celebrate. Details will be announced as soon as we have them.
For now, we look forward to seeing all of you skumfuks on the road and are excited for what the future will bring for each of us.
Thank you for the last 27 years of Sum 41.”
After their memorable performance at When We Were Young Fest earlier this year, fans have eagerly awaited the release date for the group’s much-anticipated final album. Today, the group’s double album artwork was unveiled, with the official release date set for March 29, 2024, via Rise Records, according to a social media post made by Sum 41 France.
Sum 41‘s frontman, Deryck Whibley, has previously shared that the album’s dual personalities will represent the band’s classic pop-punk sound on the Heaven side of the album, evident by the group’s lead single “Landmines,” and a heavier sound across the Hell side. The 20-track album, listed below, indicates that each side of the album will feature 10 distinct songs appealing to Whibley’s descriptions of the music. Check out the tracklist and album artwork below.
