Your inner teenager is calling, and it wants you to rock out with Senses Fail and Saves The Day on their upcoming New Jersey vs. The World Tour!
The 2000s emo explosion was a defining cornerstone in music history, bringing albums like Saves The Day’s Through Being Cool and Senses Fail’s Let It Enfold You. These albums were made by teens, for teens, and perfectly encapsulate the trepidatious unease that fuels the intoxicating exuberance and despair of youth.
Few records have had the kind of influence on the pop-punk and emo genres as Through Being Cool did through its 1999 release. Telling the story of frontman Chris Conley’s life at 17 and 18 years old in 1990s New Jersey and New York, the songs are “Ripped from the pages of journals, college assignments, and love letters.”

“Together, we plan on bringing the spirit of New Jersey to life on stage in a city near you,” Conley shares in a press release. “Let’s all sing along to our favorite songs like we did way back in the day!”
Born of the same kind of personal and juvenile exhilaration, five years later, Senses Fail released Let It Enfold You. The album exploded onto the scene with such ferocity that the lives of the band members, and especially frontman Buddy Nielsen, were forever changed. The double gold-certified album brought fans an emotional release and a sense of understanding. According to Nielsen, “We were just teenagers trying to make sense of everything that was happening to us and everything we were feeling as we stood on the cusp of adulthood.”
Nielsen adds, “I am so honored to be able to go on tour to celebrate a release from 20 years ago. If you had told me all that time again that we’d still be able to make music and tour this far into our career, I would be blown away. To have the privilege to tour with one of our main influences in Saves The Day as they celebrate one of my favorite records of all time is absolutely a blessing. I cannot wait to get out on the road.”
