Seahaven and Title Fight are two bands that go hand in hand with each other. Coming up at the same moment in time at the turn of the last decade, both defined a different side of the emo renaissance. Title Fight were raw, rough and raucous, going from crappy hardcore-tinged upstarts to hazy-eyed shoegazers. Seahaven sat on the more ethereal side of things throughout the first chapter of their journey, sprinkling post-rock breeziness into their soft creations. In the years since, Title Fight have lay dorment since their 2016 EP Spring Songs whilst Seahaven made a spirited return in 2020 with Halo of Hurt.
But now, Seahaven have shared a new cover of one of Title Fight’s finest moments, bringing everything full circle in the most stirring of ways. The cover turns things completely on its head, delivering soft synths aplenty. Slowing things to a glacial pace, it lets the beautiful poetry wash over you even more subtlety. The result is an incredible celebration of two bands that mean the world to so many.
