PVRIS Announce New Album + Headline Tour + Drop New Song “Dead Weight”

Photo: Sasha Samsonova

Your day just got so much better ’cause PVRIS are about to drop a whole lot of new music goodness. Use Me is due out May 1st on Reprise/Warner Records and to celebrate the announcement, the band dropped “Dead Weight”, an anthemic burst of color and insanely catchy hooks. And, damn, y’all ain’t ready for this video’s aesthetic. Frontwoman Lynn Gunn says of the track:

“‘Dead Weight’ is about being a people pleaser, holding others up and never asking for anything back. Quite often that can being taken advantage of and can be hard to say “no”/set boundaries, this feels amplified especially as a woman. This song is about stepping into my power as a woman, shedding old skin and taking nurturing/caretaker feminine nature and turning it into a super power.”

As if that wasn’t enough, PVRIS have also announced a monster headline tour this spring! Yup, you get to see them in May and June before they head on the road with Halsey. Told ya your day just got better. Keep scrolling for the full list of dates—tickets for all their headline dates will go on sale this Friday, March 6th at 10am local time. While you pre-order Use Me here, come join us in painting our faces in glitter and raging into the night while blasting “Dead Weight”:
