Not only has Fall Out Boy delivered a thrilling “Heartbreak Feels So Good” remix with Dillon Francis, but bassist Pete Wentz has also been named “Off Court Ambassador” for the tennis-based video game TopSpin 2K25.
Wentz, an avid fan and near-daily player of the sport, has offered contributions to the game’s soundtrack and will make “appearances on behalf of the game as a tennis aficionado and cultural figure,” a press release notes of the role. Frankly, Fall Out Boy should have their own tennis tournament to open up their shows. Check out Wentz as he details his admiration for tennis and the TopSpin 2K25 world.
“I love video games. I love tennis. [Andre] Agassi was a huge influence on me growing up,” Wentz shares. “It’s like a worlds collide moment for me. Very powerful, very sick to see and hear that song while [Roger] Federer is walking out, while Serena’s [Williams] ripping a forehand.”
You can pre-order TopSpin 2K25 here. Deluxe editions will be available on April 23 and standard game editions will be available on April 26.
You can also catch Wentz on tour for the second leg of Fall Out Boy‘s So Much For (2our) Dust run with Jimmy Eat World, Hot Mulligan, and others as support. Fans can grab tickets on their site and check out the dates below.
