Today we talk about The Munsters reboot, MILCK’s new music video, the teaser trailer for Being the Ricardos, the WILLOW and Avril Lavigne collaboration, and remembering the late Colin Powell.
The Munsters Reboot Cast
In case you missed it, Rob Zombie is giving The Munsters a reboot to fill all of our spooky needs. Zombie posted a look into the reboot on his Instagram and introduced us to the cast. Jeff Daniel Phillips will be Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie will be Lily Munster, and Dan Roebuck will be Grandpa Munster. 1313 Mockingbird Lane has been recreated and will transport fans instantly. We don’t know when we’ll get to see the finished product in its entirety but we do know that it will be released in theaters and on the Peacock streaming service. MILCK’s Music Video
Earlier this month, artist MILCK released a cover of U2‘s “One” to celebrate the song’s 30th anniversary. It will be part of an upcoming EP titled U2 Reimagined. Today, she released the music video that goes along with the “One” cover. The music video features dancers Matthew “ET” Gibbs and Kylie Shea. The director of the music video, Pasha Poosh comments, “We did this in one shot and it was the very first take. The fact that Kylie and Matthew hadn’t danced together in such a fully improvised manner in years is a testament to their dedication and years of training. The way they intuitively react to each other and the music is very rare and the zenith of my attainment when filming dancers.” Proceeds from the song go towards MILCK’s social justice project Somebody’s Beloved. Nicole Kidman Becomes Lucille Ball
It looks like Nicole Kidman is going to blow us away again with the release of the Being the Ricardos teaser trailer. Kidman is taking on the role of Lucille Ball and seems to be a perfect fit. In the trailer, we hear her narrating and get a couple of glimpses of her transformation. Taking on such an iconic role could be a challenge but it seems Kidman truly stepped up to the plate. On Instagram, Lucille Ball’s daughter, Lucie Arnaz said, “Nicole Kidman became my mother’s soul. She crawled into her head — I don’t know how you do that.” What better approval could you get? Luckily, we don’t have to wait too long for the movie as it hits theaters on December 10th. Make sure to watch the trailer below!

WILLOW and Avril Lavigne Collaborate
WILLOW and Avril Lavigne joined forces to give us a music video we are obsessed with. WILLOW’s single “G R O W” features Lavigne along with Travis Barker and is part of her latest album lately I feel EVERYTHING. She’s been on tour promoting the record, wrapping up her sold out headline performances tonight. Then she’ll hit the road again in February 2022 with Billie Eilish. The collaboration with Avril Lavigne is the perfect match for WILLOW’s rock anthem about growing and changing. Remembering Colin Powell
Colin Powell, the first Black US Secretary of State, passed away yesterday at age 84. He sadly passed due to COVID-19 complications. Powell had also been suffering from cancer and Parkinsons, which made the virus react more harshly to his body, despite being vaccinated. Powell began serving his country in 1958 and held many history-making titles, including the first Black national security advisor during Regan’s presidency and the first African American chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff while George W. Bush was president. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom twice. Powell is survived by his wife, Alma Powell and their three children.
