If you saw the now-viral couple Jordan and Vanessa get married at the My Chemical Romance “Helena” church in February 2024, you were probably in awe, and maybe even a little jealous. The couple has returned to the famous Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, CA for an even bigger celebration: a pregnancy announcement! In a recent TikTok, @vampynessa said, “[W]e got married here a few months the ago! [A]nd now we are so happy to announce we got a lil bebe coming in December! [W]e are so excited! [C]an’t wait for this little one to come.” At the altar, the family stood and showed off a little My Chemical Romance onesie.
In the comments, she did note, “[I] still plan in going to wwwyf…just don’t know if I’ll be moving around much.”

In case you missed it, Vanessa walked down the aisle at the church to meet her groom to an acoustic version of “Helena” in a wedding dress decked out with black lace elements and a black and red flower bouquet in hand. In fact, the couple decorated the church as closely as they could to the music video with DIY florals, candles, and more. Even the officiant donned all black with a red tie as he helped the couple tie the knot.
Plus, Vanessa’s vows even included a little shoutout to Gerard Way. “Thank you for putting up with every single crazy idea I have, the biggest one being today, because you made 15-year-old me’s biggest dream come true, marrying the person I love inside this church standing over the floor Gerard Way once rolled on,” she read aloud.
“I had one person say, ‘Oh she’s living the generation’s dream.’ And it was really special to me, as a big My Chemical Romance fan, with a husband who was on board and loved it as well,” Vanessa told People Magazine in an exclusive interview. “I love that it’s been so positive and that people are so happy for us.”
“The church itself was beautiful but as I saw my photographer’s photos, I couldn’t believe it. The vibe is so dark and beautiful, I can’t explain it,” Vanessa said in the interview.
