The My Chemical Romance fans are absolutely living this summer. First, in August, Gerard Way appeared at the premiere for the fourth season of his comic book-turned Netflix series, The Umbrella Academy. Additionally, Frank Iero dropped new single “This Song Is A Curse…” in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Stomachaches. Finally, Mikey Way posted a cryptic My Chemical Romance setlist on his Instagram. Could this mean a new tour is underway?
This setlist is comprised of the tracks from 2006’s The Black Parade. This is the record that the band will be playing in its entirety at this year’s When We Were Young Festival.
Fans are elated to see “Disenchanted” written down. The band last played this beloved track live in the late 2000s.
Some commenters were quick to notice that Mikey did not list LP hit “Cancer” on his notes. However, fans quickly noticed that the band often performs this track with just a piano, without any backing members.
