Mike’s Dead has dropped his new track, “WAR,” via Hopeless Records. It’s a gritty metal mix that addresses the struggles of mental health through high energy and raw emotion. This one will surely get fans ready to open up the mosh pit.

The metal act says that the song is about working through tough times. “Screaming ‘I want war/ Give me more’ was a call out for harder battles, more challenges, and to become the best version of myself I can be.” He continues, “I believe this song will resonate deeply for those who struggle with mental health and want to overcome their struggles to see a brighter future.”

Throughout the song, his mission is evident. Through screams and fast drums, blended with melodic vocals to bring it all together, “WAR” taps into an early 2000s metalcore energy that is his own brand of the popular genre. In under three minutes, he’s able to grab the listener’s attention to push them to go further without missing a beat.

Fans can catch Mike’s Dead on tour right now supporting A Killers Confession. He’ll join In This Moment, Motionless In White, and others for the GODMODE tour in March. For more info and to grab tickets, head to his site and check out the dates below.
