After teasing their latest offering on social media on Monday, March 4, Magnolia Park has unleashed their fiery new single “Hellstar.” The fervent new track seamlessly creates an amalgamation of nu-metal with the band’s signature self-proclaimed “nu emo” sound, piercing across the track.

“Hellstar” instantly demands your attention with its irresistibly catchy, chant-worthy chorus: “I’m a Hellraiser, star chaser/You better wake up/There’s a party in Hell/There’s a party in Hell tonight.” As the arrangement unfolds, the track erupts into a powerful cacophony of heavy-hitting instrumentation, propelled by vocalist Joshua Roberts‘ remarkable vocal range. With each note, Roberts demonstrates his commanding prowess, delivering a performance that envelops listeners in an all-encompassing sonic experience. While Magnolia Park’s discography showcases a diverse range of influences and sounds, “Hellstar” may just be the group’s heaviest single to date as Roberts urgently screams, “It’s not a party until someone dies.” The track also features an array of guttural tones, with a clamorous breakdown reminiscent of nu-metal legends Slipknot and Korn
