Following a surprise pop-up performance in Los Angeles on September 5, where Linkin Park introduced Emily Armstrong as their new vocalist, stepping into the role once held by the late Chester Bennington, the legendary nu-metal band officially kicked off their return world tour last night at the Kia Forum in LA.
Their 26-track setlist featured the live debut of “Keys To The Kingdom,” the first performance of “When They Come For Me” since 2014, and “Given Up” for the first time since 2015. Additionally, Mike Shinoda shared during the band’s set, “It’s not about erasing the past. It’s about starting this new chapter into the future.”
