Issues Surprise Drop Skyler Acord-Led New Single “Since I Lost You”

Issues Fall 2023

On the verge of their farewell shows and their impending official split, Issues have surprise dropped a new single, “Since I Lost You.” Bassist Skyler Acord takes on vocal duties across the new single, delivering a groovy, metal-infused track that complements his R&B style. While the group may be bidding their fans farewell, they certainly have not left them empty-handed. This track serves as an open love letter to their fans as well as a parting gift.

Towards the close of 2023, the group, now consisting of the three remaining members—Adrian “AJ” Rebollo, Skyler Acord, and Josh Manuel— released their official separation statement, coupled with the announcement of their final performances. In 2020, the band promptly parted ways with their former vocalist amid sexual assault allegations. Faced with this upheaval and the challenges posed by the pandemic, the remaining members took a hiatus to reflect on their future as a unit. Now, as fans mourn the end of the group, they are determined to conclude their journey on a lasting and memorable note “one last time.”

While the announcement initially only included three shows, the group has upgraded the Death of Issues tour run to six shows, which will bring The Home Team’s vocalist, Brian Butcher, front and center as their act-in vocalist for the stint. At their upcoming Chicago shows, Oceano and Nightlife will join them as support, while Volumes and Sayak Das will act as support in California.

Half of the announced shows are already sold out, but you can still purchase tickets to see Issues play for the final time here and check out the dates below.
