“Hello idobi faithful, first off I just wanted to say thank you to the idobi family for all of the support over the years. I truly hope you love this song, which is a departure from what most of you may tend to associate with me musically. “Letting Go” was a song I started writing in the summer of 2018 after a lot of self-realization that I was holding myself back in potential relationships due to not really letting go of what had happened in previous ones. I think we all kind of do that, though, we let things linger in our minds, hearts, and souls. Some of it helps to protect us, some of it holds us back and hinders our ability to truly live in the present and connect.
This song is just a reminder that there is beauty in a deeper connection, and that opening yourself up to the possibility of pain is something that will inevitably pay off for us whenever we find the right person. I hope this song gets you in your feels, because with the help of my friend Mindy White, we really tried to capture the back and forth tortured emotions we all feel from time to time. To let go of something, or someone, takes a lot of energy. But it’s energy that will help push you forward.”

Moving on can be hard sometimes but today’s Inbox Jukebox Presents is going to soothe any heartache you might be feeling. Telle’s “Letting Go” featuring Mindy White is a poignant daydream wrapped up in soft but powerful melodies.
Starting off with simple guitar riffs, the song allows Telle to tell the story of a journey coming to an end—which is how it has to be—even if it’s hard to say goodbye. As the song builds up to the chorus, waves of emotions and past memories will wash over you, before it takes flight with a call to let go.
“Letting Go” will not only take you through the pain of moving on but will show you that without that pain there is no healing, and that things will get better if given a little time. Let your heart feel what it needs to. Mindy’s airy vocals float through the song’s atmosphere, taking you away into a bittersweet farewell. And when Telle and Mindy come together to sing out the final chorus, their voices intertwine beautifully to lift the track to new highs. So hit play and prepare to be moved—you’ll feel so much better for it.

Fun Fact About “Letting Go”:
“A really cool fun fact about this song is that I sang the hook in a scratch vocal pass trying to suss out the melody I wanted and this was the very first take. I looked at my producer/engineer (for this song) George Shrouder and I think we both knew instantly it was the one. I hope you enjoy it!” –Telle
