Inbox Jukebox Presents: Ray Hodge’s New Song “idgaf”

Throw your middle fingers in the air and get ready to blast today’s Inbox Jukebox Presents so loud your speakers shake. Ray Hodge’s new song “idgaf” is a powerhouse anthem for all those times you’ve wanted to tell ’em how you really feel.

Kicking off with a stomping drumbeat to get you nodding your head to the truth, Ray’s vocals ring through as he serves up some shade with a side of fire. You’ll feel it in your chest as he writes an explosive letter to that one person in his life who pushed him too far, backed by soft ooh’s that make sure you know his word is gospel.

“I wanted to add a small shock value with the frantic pacing of the shots to match the song.”

“Making “idgaf” the music video was a big step me,” Ray says. This is such a personal song that it makes sense he’d want to tie the video to how he’s feeling. “idgaf” is a straight shot of pure adrenaline, a moment of turbulent emotion that comes out swinging to knock you off your feet. “This is the first video I ever had the courage to make all on my own without a professional. I wanted to represent the state of mind of song.”

You can feel the freeing power in both the song and video as Ray yells out everything he’s been bottling up—and it’s a challenge to anyone who stands in his way. “I wanted to add a small shock value with the frantic pacing of the shots to match the song,” Ray continues. The visuals maximize the energy of the track until you’re fired all the way up just like him. So hit play on “idgaf” and let your inner rage come out & shine.

Fun Fact About “idgaf”:

“I wanted to utilize some of the Instagram filtering cause I just always had the idea of that in a video looking cool. Overall I had a lot of fun making this on my own and I think not to bad for my first try haha.”
