Lemonade – Beyoncé (2016) / Hamilton Musical Soundtrack (2015)
Lemonade (2016) by Beyoncé was such a cultural “moment” that was beautifully-done throughout. But the album I actually listened to the most in the 2010s was probably the Hamilton Musical Soundtrack (2015), which represented a different kind of “moment”. But both of them encapsulated a very specific feeling of cultural empowerment for people of color in America towards the end of the Obama Administration.
