Hot Freaks are on the last stretch of road before the release of their new album Hot Freaks Forever with the dropping of “Stuart Little Vibes”. Slowly drip-feeding alternative anthems over the last few months, they have painted a picture that is as vibrant and unique as they are. From the obscure “Let’s Start A Country” to the quirky “Boyfriend“, it’s been a kaleidoscopic and cute journey. And now there’s another hit to get your teeth into, and it’s just as out there and outlandish. It’s time for ‘Stuart Little Vibes“.
From the jaunty keys to the unusual imagery conjured from the lyrical turns, it’s a song that perfectly defines everything that Hot Freaks are about. A little corner of music for the strange and sensational amongst us, it’s the sort of song that cools the mind and ensnares the senses. Indie at its most sun-stained and timeless, with plenty of modern flickers, added for good measure, “Stuart Little Vibes” is the song you need to squeeze the last of that Summer freedom out.
