Today, Ghost Atlas, aka Jesse Cash of ERRA notoriety, released his solo record Dust Of The Human Shape, as well as the official music video for “Panorama Daydream.” The release was preceded by mellow modern rock singles “Gaps In The Armoire,” “Lesser Gods,” “Seeker (Stretch The Night),” and “In The House Of Leaves.” Dust Of The Human Shape out via UNFD is currently available to purchase on vinyl as well as stream on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
In an Instagram video, Cash expressed his music process and gratitude ahead of the LP’s midnight release. “This is the record that I feel most proud of. It’s very vulnerable, nowadays, to share music,” he explains. “I love the way it sounds, I love the mix that Joseph McQueen did with it.”
After going back and forth about a previous record that ultimately got thrown out, Cash “followed [his] gut” and “put those songs aside and started from scratch.” In turn, some of these songs that were kept from the initial Ghost Atlas record include “Lesser Gods,” “Bedsheet Tourniquet,” and “In The House Of Leaves.” Check out the new video for “Panorama Daydream” below.
Named one of our Most Anticipated Albums of 2024, Cash’s latest full-length is a follow-up to his 2017 masterpiece, All Is In Sync, And There’s Nothing Left To Sing About, and his acoustic collection, 2019’s Sleep Therapy: An Acoustic Performance.
