Orlando-based pop-punk quintet FELICITY teamed up with vocalist Jon Lundin of Point North to offer up their new single “Charlie Sheen.”
“As a band, we’ve always struggled to find our identity and place in the music scene. We’ve felt overlooked, passed over, and at times forgotten. Over time, that can take a toll on your mental health and lead to self-destructive behavior,” says FELICITY guitarist Drew Rapier. “We wanted ‘Charlie Sheen’ to speak to some of our experiences and hopefully be a beacon of hope to anyone who can relate to our story and know they aren’t alone.” Check out the new song below.
Uniquely, the real Two And A Half Men star who inspired the song title had his own thoughts. “To state that I’m honored or flattered would be an understatement,” Charlie Sheen says. “This vibrant, radio-friendly hit perfectly captures and highlights the hard-won themes of accountability and redemption so many of us strive for. Bravo! Go get ‘em FELICITY, we’re all watching, and very soon, ALL listening.”
Plus, Rapier shared that working with Point North‘s Jon Lundin was nothing short of a dream come true. “Jon is a prolific songwriter who challenged us to leave our comfort zones and encouraged us to explore new genres that we would never have been brave enough to venture into without his support,” he said.
FELICITY fans will soon get the chance to see the group live in select cities throughout March as they support Australia’s Between You & Me. Check out the full list of dates below and grab your tickets here.
