ERASE THEORY have had a pretty enriching year so far. With the release of their debut EP, as well as getting to play their first show, Jeff Sahyoun has taken big steps. After the split of letlive. back in 2017, Jeff took a step back from the limelight to work on himself. Now seeing the results in real-time is a joy to behold. But now they are moving onto the next stage of the adventure with the announcement of their second EP.
That is going to be called The Good Kind and will be released on November 23 via Icons Creating Evil Art. To celebrate, they have also shared a new track that is set to feature on it. That is “Taking A Beat“, and it is sensational. Dark, pulsating and atmospherically gripping in all the right ways, it is an intimate and vulnerable portrait of what it means to slow down and go against your instincts. Littered with plenty of throbbing alt-rock guitars and modern production turns, it’s a look into Jeff’s journey in a way that feels as unpredictable as it does unrelenting.
