Last year Don Broco played a very special show at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. A room steeped in history, kings and queens have walked its halls and enjoyed concerts of all shapes and sizes for years. And when a rock band gets the opportunity to stand on the stage, they make sure it’s a special occasion. That’s exactly what Don Broco did, inviting along a full orchestra and a choir to help them reimagine some of their biggest songs. Pulling songs across their career, they delivered a spine-tingling, savage and sensational performance, with the floor in a state of delirium from start to finish. It was a huge moment in their story, showing just how far they have come from their humble roots but also what they are capable of in terms of size and scope.
And now they are capturing the energy of the evening forever by releasing it on vinyl. The band had this to say about it:
“Venues don’t come much more iconic than @RoyalAlbertHall so to be asked to be part of a week of shows there last year, reimagining our songs with a full orchestra in support of @TeenageCancer was an incredible honour…
“We were never going to let this special night live just in our memories and had to capture it.”

The release will be available in the form of a 2LP vinyl set, CD and a Super Deluxe Photobook. Every song from the evening will be on the tracklisting. That includes “Gumshield“, “Nerve“, “Pretty“, and so many more, so you don’t miss a single bit of action. It’s available to pre-order now, ahead of a November release, from right here.
Don Broco are also set to release a brand-new song this week. It’s going to be called “The Birthday Party” and based on the teasers is going to a be a bit of a weird one. With cursed animations of childhood favorites such as the Teletubbies, Paddington and Mr Blobby, you have been warned. The band will also be hitting the road in the UK this Winter.
