Marking their first release since their September 2023-released Deadly Fun, Dark Divine has unleashed their fiery new single, “Burn The Witch.”

“‘Burn the Witch’ is a song about the realization that sometimes toxicity has a lasting effect on one’s personality,” lead vocalist Anthony Martinez shares of the new single in a press release. “Even though we may separate from toxicity, it doesn’t mean that it [hasn’t] turned us into the very thing that we tried to separate from. Sometimes, we turn into the very evil that we are defending ourselves from in order to defend ourselves from said evil.”

Erupting amidst a relentless onslaught of brutal breakdowns, the lyricism surges forth with raw emotion. Propelled by unbridled anger, it delivers an impassioned outpouring of emotion regarding the attempted end of a toxic cycle. The chorus ignites into an anthemic crescendo, unleashing a powerful outburst: “Superstitions believed in/Your spell is deceiving/This time you will see that you never had control/Never had control.” Check out the official music video for “Burn The Witch” below.
