Italian rock sensation Damiano David, frontman of the powerhouse four-piece band Måneskin, has launched his debut solo single, “Silverlines.” In addition to unleashing the new track, Damiano has indicated that the release is the first to arrive from a new project.
“This song is very special to me,” Damiano shares. “It was one of the first songs to be recorded on this new project, and at the time, it represented a letter of hope, but now, if I look back, I can see how I am exactly where the song said I would be. It was automatic for me to pick this song as the beginning of this new chapter and I really hope that people are going to join me on this journey.”

Known for his commanding vocal delivery—eloquently blending raspy growls with sweeping, melodic runs—Damiano channels the same raw intensity and passion from his work with Måneskin into his solo debut. Across the emotional ballad, opening with the softness and grandeur of piano keys ringing in the background, the song ebbs and flows with a tender vulnerability, his voice drifting between haunting fragility and powerful crescendos: “And all my fears, they disappear/And I see silverlines.” Watch the stunning cinematic video for “Silverlines” below.
Ahead of the official release, David shared a short-spoken video on his social platforms. Reintroducing himself outside of his Maneskin fame, he shares, “My name is Damiano David. I was born in 1999, Rome, Italy. I love music, arts, and women.”
He continues, “I love the feeling of beautiful clothes and the smell of a nice perfume. In my life I’ve been a thief, a liar, a lover, a shapeshifter. I traveled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything started. My name is Damiano David. And today is the first day of my life.”
