Coheed and Cambria is offering a one-off single, “The Joke” with an intergalactic, The Joker-themed music video.
Vocalist Claudio Sanchez says, “The meaning behind ‘The Joke’ is basically, if you need a punching bag, I’ll be that guy.”
The music video takes place in The Amory Wars universe with the fan-favorite character “Al The Killer.” Check out the track, which comes from the Vaxis II LP sessions, below.
In tandem with “The Joke,” Coheed and Cambria also released “Deranged,” a remixed/remastered b-side which was previously released in 2011 as part of the Batman: Arkham City soundtrack.
Beginning in July, Coheed and Cambria will trek on a massive U.S. tour, performing on festival stages and headlining venues. Check out the full run below and grab tickets here.
