Billie Eilish Is In The “Final Stages” Of Making Her Next Album

When an artist gets quiet, it typically means one of two things. Either they are taking a break to reset the creative juices or putting their blood, sweat, and tears into a new collection of songs. In Billie Eilish’s case, the latter is true.

In an interview with Westwood One’s ‘The Cookout,’ a radio show via SiriusXM, the pop star excitedly shares that she is in the “final stages” of making “a whole album of music.” While this doesn’t mean the record is ready to drop tomorrow, Eilish promises fans that “lots of music is coming” in the future. “It is getting there, and it’s very exciting,” she adds.

While Eilish gave no teasers as to the themes or sound of the new record, listeners can expect to hear the singer’s dynamic vocal timbre paired with her brother Finneas’ experimental production. Her last release, Happier Than Ever, dropped in 2021 and established the singer as more than just a teenage trend. From the surprisingly punk-infused title track to the introspective lyrics on “Getting Older,” Eilish didn’t hold any thought or emotion back, no matter how confessional.

In an interview with Apple Music, she shared the organic process of creating the record. “There was no thought of, ‘What’s this going to be?’ What track is this?’” she begins. “We just started writing, and we kept writing. Over time, it just literally created itself. It just happened. It was easy.”

Music isn’t the only thing that Billie Eilish has been working on. In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the singer shared that her third fragrance, “Eilish No. 3,” will drop this November. Tapping into the beauty market back in 2021, the singer exclusively markets vegan and cruelty-free products. This fragrance is no exception, and the bottle is a ruby beauty. Take a look below!

There is no “Eilish No. 3” release date yet, but stay tuned with idobi Radio for more updates.
