Following the release of their infectious new track “YEAH!” and the announcement of their UK 2024 tour with Broadside and Young Culture, our favorite Aussies, Between You & Me, will be coming stateside this March for the SH!T YEAH U.S. Tour.
Kicking off the U.S. leg of their tour on March 7, Between You & Me will be joined by Young Culture and Homesafe, with Zoe Ko, Not My Weekend, Cherie Amour, and FELICITY performing on select dates.
With the announcement, the band shares, “Between You & Me first visited North America in November 2018. For five Australians that grew up listening to and following American bands, that was like a dream come true. We spent a month driving our Cruise America RV around the enormous country, opening the ROAM and Like Pacific co-headliner. The whole experience was extremely surreal, and we got to witness people across the other side of the world, singing along to our songs. Most importantly, we made a bunch of new friends, fans, and memories.”

“Since then, we’ve toured another five times and supported bands such as State Champs, With Confidence, Knuckle Puck, Seaway, Real Friends & Bearings. We’ve met so many people along those tours and we were continuously asked, ‘When are you going to do your own tour?’ The truth is, it was always an ambition of ours, but we never knew when we would be ‘ready.’”
They continue, “Touring in the U.S. has been financially challenging for us, coming from so far away. We’ve had losses on all five U.S. tours, and that’s without paying ourselves anything more than some merch tip money (yes, we sell the merch) for food. Frankly, touring in the U.S. was becoming too grueling, especially when you can’t afford to pay your rent when you get home. We realized that the only way we could tour the U.S. again was going to be our own headliner, and we needed to throw ourselves in the deep end.”
“Unfortunately, we underestimated how difficult it was to book a headline tour. Planning all the cities we wanted to visit, getting the venues we wanted to play in, finding the right supports…it all takes a lot of time, but we are super proud of what we have put together. The rooms are scarily big, so please make sure all your friends come and experience a Between You & Me show.”
