Bearings “Slip” Into Fourth Single From Upcoming Album

Bearings announced their upcoming third studio album The Best Part About Being Human earlier this year. The record is slated to drop August 18th via Pure Noise Records. Today the band have shared a new single, “Slip“. The brand new track comes as the fourth taster from the forthcoming album, following “Scenery“, “Gone So Gone“, and “Live Forever Never Die“. All three songs have already climbed their way into Bearings’ top five on Spotify. “Slip” is sure to join them, as it totally rips.

Speaking on the new track, the band shared: “’Slip’ was something that came together on its own. The chorus sort of has that country sway to it and the versus tell a story about the wonder and fragility of life. The feelings of loving, but knowing you can never be perfect for that person or rather perfect for anyone as you’re only human. Looking into others experiences and how they found their way through the ups and downs together and what that might have looked like.”

The music video follows a man in old age as he revisits special places from his past. He is reminded of these spots through old photographs. These photos show his yearning for a long, lost love. The visual also pairs with Bearings in a very ‘middle America’ style bar. They perform with passion, as always. Check out their music video below and pre-order the new album here!
