Marking their first full collection of music since 2022’s Apocalypse Whenever, Bad Suns have returned with their third new single, “Living Or Dying,” to be featured on their forthcoming Infinite Joy EP. The 6-track body of music additionally features already released singles “The One I Used To Love” and “Astral Plans.” The full release will arrive on November 17 via Epitaph Records.

The new single “Living Or Dying” is emphasized by an array of glistening piano notes, infectious hi-hat fills, and an irresistible groove in the guitar work. All of these elements and more converge into a breathtaking crescendo, underpinned by the mesmerizing delivery of vocalist Christo Bowman. As Bowman passionately croons the track’s chorus, “I feel like I’m lying/I’m cheating myself/I’m tired of trying to please everyone else/I feel like I do because it’s true/Nobody knows me like you/Am I living or dying?” the composition builds an ethereal quality highlighted by a blend of twinkling piano keys elevating the track to a sublime masterpiece.

“The songs on Infinite Joy reflect an oceanic scope of emotions which colored the last year of my life,” Bowman shares of the group’s forthcoming release. “In October of 2022, I got clean after a decade spent battling with alcohol abuse. In the direct aftermath, it was like experiencing an entire ten years’ worth of growth in a matter of months. Growth doesn’t occur independent of pain, sorrow, joy—every emotion imaginable. I had to go through all of it and resist none of it. It’s a journey I will be on for the rest of my life.”

Bad Suns are gearing up for a showcase performance for the 50 Years Of The Roxy Celebration on November 13. Additionally, the trio will be hosting a special Infinite Joy release show at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA, on November 13. You can get tickets to their forthcoming performances here.

Performance Dates:

  • Nov. 13—Los Angeles, CA @ The Roxy
  • Nov. 17—Anaheim, CA @ House Of Blues (Infinite Joy Release Show)
