It’s a sad day to be a Bad Omens fan. In a statement posted to the band’s Instagram Stories today, May 23, approximately one hour at the time of publication, vocalist Noah Sebastian shared that the band has canceled their entire summer tour run.

The statement begins, “I’ve been experiencing what can only be described as extreme burnout.”

“While all the touring and work that we’ve put into this album cycle the last several years has been so gratifying and rewarding, it has also pushed me to the limits of my mental bandwidth. Putting my mind and body in conflict with one another in ways that are becoming detrimental to my health on the road.”

He continues, “That said, after heavy consideration, we’ve decided that we need to cancel all of our performances coming up this summer in Europe and the UK.”

“This decision is in the best interest of my health and well-being and of the long-term sustainability of Bad Omens. We need to protect and restore all of the energy that will be demanded of us again as soon as we transition into the next chapter.”

His statement concludes “We know this will be disappointing, but we ask that you respect our choice to put health first.”

Although the group plans to release their new album Concrete Jungle (OST) via Sumerian Records on May 31, it looks like fans will be waiting several months to see it come to life in a live setting. Last week, the band performed at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL, and KPNT 105.7 Pointfest 2024 in Maryland Heights, MO.

Although it’s disappointing to see the band stepping away from the touring circuit, we’re glad they are prioritizing their mental health and taking the time they need. Sending well wishes their way!
