Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties are ready to hit the road throughout the U.S. and the UK this spring. Recently, the 16-person ensemble released the title track of their forthcoming record, “In Lieu Of Flowers,” marked by euphoria-inducing horns, eclectic orchestral strings, and even an accordion.
The project is headed by The Wonder Years‘ Dan Campbell who portrays the persona of “Aaron West.” The fictional musical narrative is marked with grief, divorce, and death, which has ultimately caused myriad complications.
The group’s upcoming album, In Lieu Of Flowers, arrives on April 12 via Hopeless Records. Five years after their last LP, it comes in swinging with the same emotional jolt to your nervous system as their previous releases. In 2024, Aaron faces the task of stitching his open wounds in hopes of moving on and healing.
