At long last, Vienna Vienna has launched their sophomore EP, Entertain Me, via PULSE Records and Pete Wentz’s DCD2 Records. The glimmer rock artist’s dazzling project is the soundtrack every young person (and young at heart) needs to hear right now. Navigating crappy jobs, uncertain futures, and beyond, Entertain Me is the ideal listen for everyone enduring growing pains and wants a friend to join them. Alongside the six tracks, Vienna Vienna also revealed the official music video for “Molly.”

idobi Radio had the chance to chat with the rising star about the songs that resonated with him most, what he learned from his first EP Wonderland, and what he hopes to take with him in 2026.

Your songs reflect broken systems, the highs and lows of being a young person, and more. Was any song particularly cathartic to write? Do any lyrics especially resonate with you as a young artist navigating a, frankly, chaotic world?

“Company Hunting” is where I think Entertain Me is at its most personal! It’s a representation of the loneliness I, and I think most young people, are facing in the modern age. We’re all left searching for something both promised and unattainable.

What did you learn from writing your first EP, Wonderland, that you applied when crafting Entertain Me

I think I learned the most when I was touring for Wonderland. Music is about connection, and sometimes it’s hard to know where those connections are being made without being in the room [with] the people you’re connecting with. Wonderland was a more indecisive process than Entertain Me. Through making EP 1, I developed a deeper understanding of my personal taste and sound, which allowed me to be much freer creatively on Entertain Me

How did Pulse and Pete Wentz’s DCD2 help you bring the EP to life?

Everyone at Pulse and DCD2 have been fantastic creative sounding boards; we have the same taste and goals, which makes for a beautiful environment to flourish as an artist. I was fortunate enough to work with Josh Abraham of Pulse on “Molly.” He’s a clever and patient creative, and encouraged me to take my time in places I usually work fast, which has become a powerful tool for me as a songwriter and player.

What helped to decide “Company Hunting” as the best single to introduce fans to the project, and what made “Monarch” stand out as the perfect EP closer for you?

“Company Hunting” felt like a good check-in. Sort of a “here’s where I’m at right now.” “Monarch” felt like the right release from the sonic tension built in songs like “Buzz” and “Idle Hands.”

It’s a new year, and you’ve got a new EP! What goal are you hoping to achieve in 2026?

This year, I want to live more authentically than ever before and reap the freedom that comes from personal truth.
