Who else can’t wait for the summer and the Warped Tour? Music fans everywhere were glued to their screens last night (even more than normal) for this year’s Vans Warped Tour presented by Journeys announcement, with some huge names from both new bands to the scene, and some true pop punk legends returning to take to the stages this festival season. Check out what some of idobi’s staff had to say on the lineup below, and send us your own reactions in the comments!

Holy shit the bands that made me fall in love with this genre are touring with the bands that keep me believing in this genre.

Every Time I Die is the key to happiness. I will be catching their set at least 3 times on 3 separate dates this year.

I’d only go to see The Story So Far. I’m not a huge Warped Tour fan so I guess I’m not really that excited.

I would check out some new bands. Tons of talent on this lineup.

I made a lot of unrecognizable noises. Then I composed myself and thought, shit, there’s a glimmer of hope for Warped Tour. Is that too deep? Nope. I’m owning it.

Warped is rather rudely skipping Toronto this year…so I’m so glad I’ll be in Chicago in time for their date! Such a great mix of established “classic” bands and emerging artists.

Awesome. Kevin Lyman successfully chose a line-up that pleases both Pop Punk & Metal fans all around. Having almost all the heavy bands on two stages where set times won’t conflict along with the bigger pop punk bands on Journeys Left/Right Foot Stages was a great choice. No longer will you have to choose between seeing your favourite mid-size Monster Stage band and a Main Stage Heavy Headliner. Thank you for this incredibly awesome line-up.

Great Scott! It looks like Kevin Lyman got a ride in the DeLorean, went back to some of my favorite past Warped Tours and brought those headliners back to 2016! I can’t wait to hang out with Marty McFly in the mosh pit this summer!

You can tell this year’s Warped isn’t systematic but at the same time it appeals to all ages and all genres in the scene in a very natural way with a new effort to focus on smaller bands and non-profits and well that’s what punk is all about so I’m stoked for it.

I’m gonna have to at least two dates this year! The lineup is amazing and there’s no way I’ll be able to see everyone I want to in just one day.
