Shaky Knees Kick-starts Summer Festival Season Early

The Shaky Knees Festival kicks off today in Atlanta Georgia. Beck is sure to be a show stopper tonight promoting his upcoming album “Hyperspace” and his new single “Saw Lightning”. Along with the low-fi psychedelic folk rocker are Incubus, Cage the Elephant, and Tame Impala. There is a little bit of everything rock at Shaky Knees with four stages, a couple dozen food vendors, and sponsored giveaways. Summer Music Festival season looks exciting with this late spring kick-start.

Shaky Knees festival in Atlanta releases 2014 lineup

Shaky Knees festival takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 9 – 11 and they’ve got a pretty solid lineup this year. Headliners will be The National and Modest Mouse (with one more still to be announced). The Gaslight Anthem, Portugal. the Man, Dropkick Murphys, Conor Oberst, Cold War Kids, Jason Isbell, and Trampled By Turtles are just a few of the other bands playing, making it one of the more varied lineups I’ve seen announced so far. Tickets will be available here on January 17th, starting at $150.

After embarking on a wildly successful stadium tour this summer and concluding the run with a headline set at Shaky Knees Fest this weekend, My Chemical Romance has announced The Black Parade 2026 tour, celebrating 20 years of their milestone album.
