Warped Tour Lineup, Itinerary Officially Announced


The Vans Warped Tour has officially announced the lineup and itinerary for the 11th annual edition of the punk/skating tour. As previously reported by MTV News, the bill for the oldest touring festival in the U.S. will be topped by the Offspring and My Chemical Romance, along with the Transplants, MxPx, All-American Rejects, Dropkick Murphys, Thrice, Atreyu and Senses Fail. The 48-date tour, which kicks off on June 17 at the Germain Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio, will snake its way across the country through mid-August, wrapping up on August 14 at the Englishtown Raceway in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Sugarcult, Hawthorne Heights Kick Off TAKE ACTION TOUR


The Take Action Tour (www.takeactiontour.com) kicked off in DC with an evening of hard-hitting music from Sugarcult, The Early November, Hawthorne Heights, Hopesfall and Gym Class Heros. The event is the brainchild of Louis Posen, president and founder of punk/hard-core label Hopeless Records. Celebrity Cancels Remaining Tour Dates After Altercation At Salt Lake City Club


Celebrity has cancelled their remaining dates on the Hopesfall/Every Time I Die tour as a result of injuries sustained during an altercation at last night’s (4/29) show at The Junction in Salt Lake City. During headliner Hopesfall’s set, members of Celebrity tried to calm a group of 30-40 audience members that were beating up kids in the crowd all evening unchecked by security. After having words with the group, bassist, Jesse Fine, was ambushed by several people as he turned around to walk away.
