Starbucks and Concord Music Group have formed a new label, Hear Music, which will sign established and emerging artists directly for distribution inside and outside the coffee chain. Under the collaborative venture, Starbucks will take primary responsibility for A&R, while Concord will lead marketing, promotion and distribution of Hear Music artists outside the cafes. Canadian metalcore outfit Counterparts has announced a headline tour taking place next winter. The Heaven Let Them Die North American Tour will feature support from Pain Of Truth, Malevolence, and Foreign Hands. This announcement comes after the band’s surprise release of their new six-song EP, Heaven Let Them Die, via Pure Noise Records last week. Ahead of their sets at When We Were Young Fest, Silverstein performed an intimate show on October 18 at Las Vegas’ American Legion Post 8. Additionally, the show came mere days after the band excitingly announced their forthcoming double album Antibloom / Pink Moon. The rollout begins on February 21 via UNFD with Antibloom. On October 4, UK-based punk rockers Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes shared with fans near and far that they’re taking a hiatus. Most recently, the duo released their January 2024 LP Dark Rainbow.
