Members of rock acts Snow Patrol and Ash are throwing their support behind plans to create a dedicated music center in their Northern Ireland homeland. Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody and Ash lead singer Tim Wheeler are rallying behind the project, dubbed Oh Yeah (the title of Ash’s 1996 U.K. top 10 hit), aimed to be a multi-functional nucleus for musicians in the country’s capital of Belfast. IDLES Announces Huge 2024 World Tour, New LP ‘TANGK’

Bristol-based post-punkers IDLES are going on a major international tour in 2024, including plentiful stops in North America. Beginning on February 29, the band will kick off a long run of European shows in Portugal, and conclude on March 23 in Frankfurt. Then, the group will begin their North American tour on May 3 in Vancouver before heading down into the United States and also hitting venues in Mexico.
