The Dity Nil have unearthed a thrilling cover from their October 5, 2023 show at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. The group invited George Pettit of Alexisonfire and Dead Tired to perform “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” originally by The Stooges. On social media, The Dirty Nil noted, “Ripped some Stooges with the GOAT [George Pettit] once upon a time. Alexisonfire Shares Live Single, Announces ‘LIVE Born & Raised 2022, St Catherines ON’ LP


Today, Alexisonfire announced a new live album, LIVE Born & Raised 2022, St Catherines ON, which is scheduled to debut later this month on June 27. Ahead of the LP, they’ve shared the single, “Little Girls Pointing And Laughing,” a live version of the first song they wrote as a band over 20 years ago. The album will feature 17 tracks, recorded live in the band’s hometown of St. Catherines during their inaugural Born & Raised Festival. Alexisonfire in NYC


Alexisonfire released Otherness, their 5th LP and first in 13 years, back in June and are on tour in support. The album stays true to Alexisonfire’s signature post-hardcore sound; battling vocal styles between Dallas Green’s sweeping melodies and George Pettit’s frenetic screamo. The Ontario born group came to New York City’s South Street seaport for a rooftop show at Pier 17 on Saturday, July 23rd. On February 25, Billboard dropped their latest Behind The Setlist podcast episode with the iconic Nick Wheeler of The All-American Rejects.
