The group invited George Pettit of Alexisonfire and Dead Tired to perform “I Wanna Be Your Dog,” originally by The Stooges. Alexisonfire released Otherness, their 5th LP and first in 13 years, back in June and are on tour in support. The album stays true to Alexisonfire’s signature post-hardcore sound; battling vocal styles between Dallas Green’s sweeping melodies and George Pettit’s frenetic screamo. The Ontario born group came to New York City’s South Street seaport for a rooftop show at Pier 17 on Saturday, July 23rd.
