Alexisonfire released Otherness, their 5th LP and first in 13 years, back in June and are on tour in support. The album stays true to Alexisonfire’s signature post-hardcore sound; battling vocal styles between Dallas Green’s sweeping melodies and George Pettit’s frenetic screamo. The Ontario born group came to New York City’s South Street seaport for a rooftop show at Pier 17 on Saturday, July 23rd. Following back-to-back shows on April 2 and 3 in Mexico City, blink-182 has unfortunately been forced to cancel their final two Mexico dates today, April 5, and tomorrow, April 6, due to an illness in the camp. In a statement sent to fans, the band’s camp shared, “Sadly, blink-182 shows, April 5 and 6 at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City, have been canceled due to illness.” The statement continues, informing ticket-holding fans that refunds will be processed back to the point-of-purchase card for tickets purchased online.
