SR-71 is circling the globe for its next tour, which launches with a series of shows in Japan this month. After playing a spring break beach party with MxPx and American Hi-Fi in Jamaica, the band will head back to the U.S. with fellow rockers Dexter Freebish and Diffuser. New Green Day, Eve 6, Mystikal On 'New Guy' Soundtrack


New material from Mystikal, Juvenile, Green Day, Eve 6 and others will surface next month on the soundtrack to the comedy “The New Guy.” Mystikal wrote the title song for the movie, which stars DJ Qualls (“Road Trip”) and Eddie Griffin (“Double Take”) and features cameos from several artists, including Tommy Lee, Jermaine Dupri, Henry Rollins and Kool Moe Dee. Dakona, Newly Signed Maverick Band, Set To Headline Teen Suicide Prevention Benefit Concert


Recently-signed band Dakona, currently hard at work on their debut album for Maverick Recording Company, will take a break from recording to headline a benefit concert to help teen suicide prevention.
