Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival is just around the corner! And fans can officially start to plan their weekend setlist with the four-day festival’s set times officially being announced. The festival is slated to return to the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, from Thursday through Sunday, May 14-17, and will feature over 140 artists performing across five stages. Following the release of their track “Dr. Frankenstein” with Holding Absence, RedHook is back with their new heavy rock-tinged diss track, “Bomb.com.” Lead vocalist Emmy Mack shares, “Purpose-built for the pit. Nu metal and hardcore influences fuel this rampaging diss track about someone in the music industry who isn’t very nice to female-fronted bands. Metalcore Aussies, The Amity Affliction, has announced their spring North American tour. Across the tour, they’ll be playing Let The Ocean Take Me in full to mark the album’s 10th anniversary, which received its initial release on June 6, 2014, in Australia. Currents, Dying Wish, and Mugshot will join them as support. The 31-show run starts in San Diego on April 26 and goes through June 6, ending in Los Angeles, CA. Mixing EDM and metalcore is on the rise. The Amity Affliction is the most recent artist to jump on this trend and has reimagined their song “Show Me Your God” with DJ PROBLM CHLD. The bouncy trance, sometimes dubstep-esqe beat, is a different way to listen to the Australian act.
