It seems like The Pretty Reckless is ready to skip right past Halloween and Thanksgiving and get ready for Christmas. After teasing a new project for the past three days on social media, the band has revealed that Taylor Momsen‘s Pretty Reckless Christmas is arriving at midnight.
This is seemingly long overdue as Momsen starred as Cindy Lou Who in the 2000 film How The Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey. I mean, “Where Are You Christmas?” is a certified holiday banger.
Whether it’s a single or multi-track release remains to be seen. After all, the lead-up teaser videos feature vignettes from all of her past acting and music roles, including her time on Gossip Girl. Stay tuned to socials at 12 AM to, perhaps, secure an early Christmas gift.
In August, The Pretty Reckless unleashed their first new single in three years, “For I Am Death,” with a new music video.
Momsen shared, “With ‘For I Am Death,’ I want the music to speak for itself, allowing the listener to decide what it means to them. The interpretation of the song might align with my own, or it might come from the heart of the audience. Either way, I’m excited to see what people take away from it and what it means to them. Oh, and rock and roll will never die.”
