There’s some sad news for those who wanted to see pictures of Nina Dobrev and Shaun White at their wedding. The couple, who got engaged in October 2024 in New York City, has officially broken up, per an exclusive report by People.
The Vampire Diaries star and Olympic gold medalist snowboarder originally began dating in 2019, and even spent the lockdown together. After five years together, they called it quits, with one source noting that “it was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”

As of publication, neither Dobrev or White have shared official statements of the break-up. However, some eagle-eyed onlookers noticed that Dobrev walked the Eternity red carpet on September 7 at TIFF without her large engagement ring, five carats, to be exact.
