After gaining attention from the international mainstream media following their Glastonbury performance, Bob Vylan proves that they can’t and won’t be stopped. The duo announced that they will be headlining select dates in Europe throughout September.
Earlier this week, Bob Vylan announced that their October shows were canceled. “Due to logistical complications, we have decided not to join our friends Gogol Bordello on their upcoming European tour. However, we will be heading to Europe in the coming months for both festivals and headline shows,” they said.
Our fingers are crossed that these are just a handful of many headline shows to come.
Plus, for anyone who wants to know Bob Vylan‘s stance following their “controversial” Glastonbury performance, they shared the following on X/Twitter: “A little help for any other out of touch 90s musician asked about Bob Vylan at Glastonbury. Your response should probably resemble something to the affect of: ‘Over 58k Palestinians killed since Oct 7th 2023. Over 700 killed while attempting to get aid. Over 1400 medical workers killed since Oct 7th. Genocide is being live-streamed for all to see and the UK is not simply allowing it to continue but facilitating it, along with the United States. Why are we talking about a punk band?’ End.”
Sadly, for US fans, you may not get the chance to see Bob Vylan soon. The United States government, unfortunately, revoked their visas ahead of their planned tour dates.
You can grab tickets for the band’s newly announced tour dates on Friday, July 18 at 10 AM CET.
