Batman v Superman may feature one of the biggest showdowns of 2016, but there was another (rather more amicable) face-off concerning this movie and a fellow blockbuster from a long time ago in a galaxy– uhh, 2015. That’s right—two big-name directors used their films to poke fun at each other, and Geek Girl Riot’s Day Al-Mohamed noticed a reference to end all references in Batman v Superman, which may have just won this round.
