Following last night’s song premiere on In Frequency, we’re excited to bring you the music video for the latest offering from Heirsound: a cover of The Internet‘s “Just Sayin”. This is the second official release from the new project of former Love, Robot members Alexa San Román and Dane Petersen, following their debut single “Do It Over”. Their reimagining of the song flips the script on the bouncy hip hop of the original without losing any of its groove; on the show, San Román explained why they decided to incorporate covers into the introduction of the band:
“It shows everyone what our style is as far as–this is what the song sounds like originally, and this is what us, as a band, would do to it to make it sound like Heirsound. I think people can have that compare/contrast while they listen to the original vs. ours; then they can kind of see what we do.”
